Getting involved with Engineers Without Borders is a great opportunity to be part of a team committed to creating change. From the most exciting leadership roles, to drop-in style learning workshops, there are many different ways to experience EWB.
Volunteer as a Director
Whether you're looking to learn more about international development, be part of a team, buff up your resume, create social change or just have fun, volunteering as an EWB director is a great experience. Most directorship roles are extremely flexible and require a commitment of less than five hours a week.
Discussion Groups
Do you thrive on debate and discussion? Do you like learning in an informal environment? Discussion Groups are an opportunity to debate and discuss different topics every week.
Online Involvement
EWB chapters run a number of vibrant online portals to keep the general public informed about development issues world-wide. The advantages of these portals is that information is available 24/7 and only a few clicks away.
Participate in our Events
The EWB UW chapter is planning a whole host of events for this term. From Canada Day activities at Columbia Lake to a Fair Trade Bazaar at Waterloo Square, join us for some of the action! Stay tuned to this website or join our mailing list for event updates and reminders.
